About Me

I was a full time software engineer for over a decade before getting my Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Florida. I’ve been on the faculty of Arizona State University and the University of Connecticut. My research focuses on what we can learn from language in corporate disclosures beyond what’s obvious to a human reader and how information about one company can tell us more about other companies.

You can find more information on my LinkedIn page.

In my downtime, I enjoy photography, playing guitar and piano, and anything outdoors.
